Pilkington and PGW make a lot of OE glass for the automakers. Same thickness, Dimensions, tinting, etc.
There is a third type of glass Original Equipment Equivalent: this is aftermarket glass. They do not pay the copyright fee to make a duplicate of the original so by law it has to be different. It’s usually a thinner glass.
